Summary/Abstract: The present study analyses the lexicographic components in prints written in Latin in the 18th century, which, depending on the authorship, language, place of publication or content, concern Slovakia or Slovaks. It defines the form, method and meaning of their inclusion in the work in the context of intersection with vernacular languages as a starting point for the mediation of mostly technical vocabulary to the reader in conjunction with the practical context of the presented works.
