Summary/Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic has affected people’s lives worldwide, including in terms of the usual vocabulary. Words that until now have been specific to the medical professional language have now entered the common word stock and their use is accompanied by new behaviour as well. In the pandemic context, various categories of words act like a whip, causing neural activations matching the semantic content of the words processed.
