Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the earliest stages of acquisition of Bulgarian language by children. The corpus-based study of the metamorphosis of expressive into grammatical at the dawn of morphological ontogenesis is grounded on longitudinal research data obtained from two Bulgarian children: Alexandra (ALE) at age 1;01–2;04 and Stefani (TEF) at age 1;0–2;05), statistically processed by means of specialized computer programmes of CLAN package of CHILDES system (https://childes.talkbank.org/).The article deals with the earliest stages of acquisition of Bulgarian language by children.
