Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of this article is to disclose the various semantic nuances of “ta” and “pa” particles, which depend on the type of speech – direct or author’s speech, their position in the sentence, as well as their interaction with other linguistic items in the fiction texts. The emphasis is on the particles “ta” and “pa” as pragmatic and expressive colloquial markers; because it is exactly then that their connotations are expressed.
