Summary/Abstract: At the beginning of the 20s, Vladimir Nicoară was one of the representative journalists of the first Romanian newspapers in Târgu-Mureş, Ogorul (The Land) and Mureşul (The Mures). As journalist and writer in Cluj, he contributed to the debut of the Romanian press in the neighbouring area of Mureş, consecrating here a profile of moral criticism. Vladimir Nicoară was the pseudonym of the captain I. Ioan, editor of the periodical Înfrăţirea poporului (The Brotherhood of the People) in Cluj, as mentioned by the Romanian Press Almanac of 1926.
