Summary/Abstract: In the consecutive years 1965, 1966, 1967, George Şt. Andonie published a trilogy entitled Istoria matematicii în România (The history of Mathematics in Romania). In these volumes we find extensive biobliographical information about the personalities in the mathematics education and research in our country, from many centuries ago until the days when the books were written.
