Summary/Abstract: The contents of the present article intent to point out the annotations regarding ink recipes, which were found in the old Romanian book Collection from the Romanian Academy Library, Cluj-Napoca. These annotations show the preparation methods for the ink used in the scribes’ workshops and the printing houses, pointing out accurately the necessary ingredients and their quantities, the modes of ink admixture, the period of maturation of the ink, and the best way to preserve it.
