Summary/Abstract: It may prove to be a challenge to activate students in distance learning. A number of teachers that have been forced to teach remotely because of the COVID-19 pandemic need to face this issue and search for new teaching methods, techniques, and tools. Online apps like Kahoot!, edpuzzle or Padlet, which have been described in the current article, may turn out quite useful in practice.
