Summary/Abstract: The heritage of the thoughts and actions of the eminent Polish philosopher Józef Tischner is not only the subject of scientific research and in-depth philosophical reception, but also finds practical application in many regular and occasional events devoted to the social dimension of his thoughts. A special phenomenon, however, are the “Tischner schools”, which form the so-called The Tischner family. They have strong ties, their own customs and even rituals, such as the special admission to their circle. They were created as the legacy of an outstanding priest and philosopher. They are also a tribute to him posthumously. It is in them that his thoughts are continued and his philosophy deepened. The aim of this article is to show the origins and history of the Tischner School Family.
