Summary/Abstract: The Wietenberg settlement from Uroi – Sigheti, investigated as a preventive research, part of „Autostrada 2011” project (Pl. I), provided important archaeological informations, as well as a rich inventory, which illustrates the complexity of the material, but also spiritual universe of the Middle Bronze Age in this area. One of the special discoveries that came from the numerous investigated complexes is a whole ceramic figurine of small dimensions, with zoomorphic aspect (Pl. VII). Found in a secondary context, among the pottery and zoo-ostheological remains from the filling of a former (abandoned) deepened dwelling, the piece stands out through its uniqueness, within the Wietenberg plastic. Its characteristics suggest its use in the ludic sphere, but we cannot neglect its connection with the instrumentary of the ritual-religious or magical practices of the community.
