Summary/Abstract: The excavations carried out in the area of the temple A of the Histrian sanctuary have brought to light fragments from four vessels that belong to the Polos Painter, a painter of black-figured vases, who was active at Athens during the first half of the 6th century BC. Among these, three are plates, a category in which Polos Painter exceled, and one is a concave pyxis, a rare vase shape in the Attic repertoire before the middle of the 6th century BC.
