Summary/Abstract: The first part of the paper presents the transhumanistic philosophy as a result of unsolved problems of cognitive science. The second part of the paper considers the issue of whether current social and behavioral sciences are in a position to cope with the challenges, which are placed before them by the development of current electronic technology. The theory of intentionality (Franz Brentano, John Searle) together with the theory of human actions and products (Kazimierz Twardowski – Lvov-Warsaw School) provide the conceptual framework of the undertaken analysis.
