Summary/Abstract: The article studies the process of creation of happiness which traverses the path of sensational suffering: it is based on the philosophy of Schopenhauer for whom the world is my representation, which means the perception of the real world depends on the body-subject. A woman’s happiness in life is determined by the power of sensations and it is related to other concepts like Beauty and Love. This article focuses on the dialectic of happiness in novels and poetry of Ezza Malak: the novel is a horizontal writing form; it does not reflect the possibility of escaping out of the real. Consuming the happiness of sensations and the meaning of happiness fails. So, a novel is the space of deception. This is the story of the woman who suffers from troubles of her olfaction, which influence all levels of her life. On the contrary, the poetry suggests a vertical movement. It develops values related to Love and Nature. The experience of writing poetry is original both poets Malak and her husband, the neurophysiologist Gilles Sicard because it shows that poetry has the power of healing. Healing the souls means creating happiness which is motivated by love and materialized by elements of nature.
