Summary/Abstract: Available documents from the archives of Serbia as well as those of Slovenia and Croatia show that the activities of wild cleansings and repression of political and class enemies were not accidental nor spontaneous. According to all documents it was a case of a planned activity led by OZNA, which crossed its boundaries only in some segments, and not anarchic events that got out of control. Everything was directed and strictly controlled by OZNA and Communist Party, which was informed about everything: its policy was the red thread running through everything, coordinating the work of prosecutor’s office, court and secret police. Besides war revenge, dominant motives for dealing with the enemy had ideological and class character. The article analyses the process of liquidation of state enemies at the end of 1944 and the beginning of 1945 in Serbia by the members of secret communist police and according to recently available documents. They make it possible to fully reconstruct the scenario and technology of violence and determine responsibility of state government and party in its execution. One can also perceive the motives for murders and misuses of revolutionary communist party antifascism for the purpose of eliminating the enemy.
