Households’ financial assetsand economic prospect

Summary/Abstract: The paper analyses relationship between the value of households’ financial assets and economic prospect as well as presents changes in the level and structure of particular types of households’ financial assets. In the span of 2004-2012 value of real financial assets of households and non-profit institutions serving households increased by 66%. Negative correlation between economic prospect and real value of deposits of households and NPISH was observed which indicates that less-risky financial assets are preferred when economic growth is low.
