Summary/Abstract: The article describes the development of EU state aid rules set in the era of COVID-19, in particular those set out in the Communication from the Commission – Temporary framework for state aid measures to support the economy in the current COVID-19 outbreak. It also presents basic information on state aid measures developed on the basis of this document. Moreover, the most frequent problems related to the practical implementation of these rules in Poland are discussed.
