Summary/Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has had an enormous impact on education, forcing teachers and students into remote learning and using various ICT tools. The question arises whether this experience will have a long-lasting influence on education. The article focuses on blended learning defined as an approach that combines traditional methods of learning (face-to-face interaction) with an appropriate use of technology. Apart from presenting advantages of using this approach, it emphasizes the importance of changing a traditional role of a teacher and learner in the process of education.
