Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on verbal manifestations of male emotions related to fathers’ participation in infant feeding as described in seventeenth-century English ego-documents. The main aim is to discuss the features of male perception of this aspect of childcare and emphasize religious character of the authors’ emotional experience.
