Summary/Abstract: State aid is nowadays one of the implements used to improve competition in the economic field in many countries all over the world. State aid needs to be addressed, monitored, and exploited properly in order to become an efficient tool to overcome barriers in local business, and moreover in international markets. The subject of state aid arouses a lot of controversy in the fields of state aid circumstances and profits in opposition to EU antitrust policy. When state aid is used too often it can cause less motivation in the effectiveness of companies and can threaten economic competition on the global market.
