Summary/Abstract: In condition of the crisis, EU governments actions, depending on their financial capacity and adopting the concept of managing the country, base on taking steps towards reducing the budget and look for savings or augmentation of the budget deficit and financing anti-crisis stimulus measures. The aim of these actions is to restore a relative balance in the public finances and reduce the growing budget deficits of the Member States. Ultimately, all countries should aim to carry out economic policies that will reduce their demand for loan capital and promote the restoration of fiscal balance. An important factor blocking the possibility of successful implementation of this policy may, however, be low economic growth and the lack of structural reforms, as well as the resistance of potential recipients to aid from the EU’s excessive interference in the internal affairs of the country and a borrower and the limitation of its sovereignty.
