Summary/Abstract: The transition to settled life has led to people living together in crowds. Today, the increasing population throughout the world has caused density in certain regions due to economic-social-cultural reasons. In a sense, it seems that epidemic diseases that have not left human beings throughout history have found the most suitable environment that can spread this time and therefore increase their effect with the increasing human mobility with the developing technology. The coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic we are living in has affected antropeople, societies and cultures around the world. The period when the virus started to spread and the first quarantine (self quarantine) term caused us to experience a process that most of us are not used to and did not have any preparation. This study aims to understand the process from an anthropological perspective, based on university students' own observations and thoughts. Two open-ended questions were directed to the students via e-mail, and as a result of these questions, their feelings and thoughts about the process and their future implications were determined. The passages of the students were divided into themes based on qualitative data analysis method with an descriptive method and evaluated under these themes. It is determined that the students went through a similar process not only among themselves but also among the same or similar age groups at the international level. The data created themes such as the first panic, anxiety and fear period; equality, opportunism, material grievances, spatial differences, family relationships, quarantine activities, environmental impacts brought about by the quarantine process, and expectations on their own lives.
