Summary/Abstract: The prose of Hortensia Papadat-Bengescu is constituted under the sign of erotic reluctance by mirroring the intimate springs. Using various tools of seduction, the heroines investigate love in all its phases. The semantic area marching between the perverted and the candid woman. The unraveling as a form of erotic reticence is the quintessence of Bengali prose. We think of the analyst's work as an open work par excellence: desire, disease, metamorphosis, mental process.
