Summary/Abstract: In the city of Bacău, during the Second World War, the mayor's office carried out several actions to prevent and limit diseases. The most important measures adopted were the vaccination of the population, but also the obligation to comply with hygiene rules. The Jewish community in Bacău followed, by distributing doctors by sectors, the state of health of the population and the periodic implementation of actions to deworm.
