Summary/Abstract: The article is part of studies concerning the Polish ethnic policy. Its main aim isan attempt to evaluate mentioned policy in the light of the international law standards.A tool for that is analysis of the documents regarding implementation by Poland of theprovisions of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages (ECRML) andthe Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities (FCNM).
