Summary/Abstract: Autobiography in Russian fiction in the first quarter of the XX century is one of the most compelling evocations of the author’s image. Autobiography is usually understood as the reflection of events from the life of the writer in a literary work, as well as the proximity of the hero of the text to the author in any respect. Due to the fact that in realistic texts, particular attention is paid to the social situation that characterizes a certain historical period, it is important to understand the perception of the world of the creator of the literary work.
