Summary/Abstract: Weaving Industry has taken a very important place in the political, economic, social and commercial life of the Ottoman Empire. In this study, based on five centers (İzmir, Manisa, Bursa, Ankara and Konya), XVII. Along with the developments in the weaving industry in the Ottoman State in the century; fabric types, raw material production and marketing are tried to be explained. In addition, depending on the developments in the Eastern Mediterranean trade, the economic and social reflections of the changes of trade routes to İzmir hinterland to the region were emphasized.
