Summary/Abstract: This research was conducted to examine and explore the experiences of individuals with stuttering in depth. Qualitative methods and techniques were used in the research for this aim. A phenomenological approach was used to form the data of the study and in-depth interviews were conducted with 18 stuttering individuals who were reached by using snowball sampling. The data created by in-depth interviews were analysed with the qualitative data analysis program MAXQDA. As a result of the analysis, four themes were reached: perception of stuttering, help-seeking behavior, problems experienced and services needed. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that individuals with stuttering face many problems in the family, education, work, friendship relations and social life due to difficulties in speaking. Individuals with stuttering expressed their need for support mechanisms to cope with their difficulties. Individuals with stuttering stated that they had problems in accessing the services related to their stuttering and emphasized the support they need in this regard.
