Summary/Abstract: Mitrush Kuteli with his works in prose seems to be a master of narrative, completely original, unrepeatable in Albanian literature, becoming the initiator of modern prose. He established the school of storytelling in the field of prose. Most of Kuteli's prose relies on a life story, on a popular oral narrative, with subjects often taken from the narratives of folk songs. He emphasizes this and seems to boast of this ancient value of the nation, giving us an attractive, spontaneous, clear style with a very special poetics in the field of prose. We notice this in the story "Night of June" which is also the object of our analysis. It should be noted that in the composition of the story "Night of June", Kuteli deals with the change of genre: from historical song to narrative prose. Therefore, with an attractive style, he turns Bendo Shapwrdani's song into the prose genre through the character of Marko Arbwnashi. This is the feature of the creator Kutel, who takes from the people and builds unrepeatable artistic prose in our literature with rare poetic features. This style, this way of storytelling makes Kuteli a specific prose writer that Albanian literature lacked in the twentieth century.
