Summary/Abstract: Global energy transformation will create the conditions for investments along with the associated economic growth and sustainable expansion of new jobs. This article attempts to summarize the specifics of the development of the energy sector, as well as the necessity of developing new trade models arising from the energy transition. In conclusion, the main trends in energy transformation toghether with the possible effects on trade and relations between countries are outlined.
