Summary/Abstract: The developement of informational technologies allowes us to use computers in everyday-life. Today, we may use computers instead of books when we want to read.The electronic book (eBook) has no palpable support; it exists as a logical form and contains not only textes, but also images and sounds. The eBook is very practical and latelly, it seems to be appreciated by lots of readers. Reading is possible anywhere and anytime if we have the necessary electronical apparatus: PDA devices (a hand-size) or eBook devices (a book-size).Librairies should offer to their readers electronic books; a library like that should consists on: a virtual library with virtual books (the reader will get the informations from his own house, without going to the library); an electronic reading hall (the readers will use the computers from the library); a lending section for electronic books (CD that can be used by the readers on their own computers).
