Summary/Abstract: According to Slovene public opinion, the main preconditions for efficient trade-unionism are separation of trade unions from politics and their unity. It means that Slovene public is informed about the modern conception of trade-unionism and that it gives a support to this conception. The judgment that activity of Slovene trade unions diverse strong from this conception is prevalent within Slovene public opinion. The public opinion understands Slovene trade unions as politicized and disunited organisations.
