Summary/Abstract: Tenth Ambigua of St. Maximus the Confessor is the single largest and one of the most comprehensive discussions of the Ambigua Corpus. It is, among other things, specific for its immediate consideration of the problem of time in several sections. Also, this text provides the opportunity to theologically contextualize the problem of time St. Maximus’ original insights regarding the problem of time therefore become the basis for a muchneeded creative review of deeply rooted theological views. Such a review is necessary especially given the crucial importance of the problem of time in a variety of scientific disciplines.
