From the point of view of documenting the Slovak aspect of the Vatican sources, may be possible speak about its several special characteristics. In particular, these are slovaciks that significantly complement the historical dictionary of the Slovak language, and here especially in the onomastic documentation of the historical side of toponyms and anthroponyms. Another group is represented by documents that relate to the Slavic aspect in terms of content. These are: a) data on realities in relation to the territory of Slovakia and its population communities, b) data on the slovakity of the historical and residential area, c) data of a generally Slavic nature in relation to (also cultural-ecclesiastical) the territory of Slovakia. This is illustrated by several examples.
