Summary/Abstract: This paper is a short bibliographical register of Az-Zamahšarī's works and their systematic classification. The author draws attention to many difficulties in detection of manuscripts of this Islamic classic as well as those works which have been already published. He has tried to solve that problem by referring to the already done bibliographical surveys of the vast Az-Zamahšarī's opus. The paper shows various headlines of the same Az-Zamahšarī's works, which are sometimes known under the various headlines and titles. This survey of Az-Zamahšarī's works has also served the author to present his views on the time context of their occurrence. The very historical context of these works explain the reasons why Az-Zamaêšarī is the most significant linguistic commentator of Qur'an in the first part of the twelfth century AD.
