Summary/Abstract: During the 2000 ‐ 2007 campaigns in the “western enclosures” sector,several walls were discovered, belonging to the cityʹs defense system and dated to different historical periods and eras (Fig. 1). The results obtained imposed, in the coming years, the extension of the excavation site beyond the last precinct, in the “northern enclosures” (Fig. 2).
