Grounds and consequences of real estate expropriation

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the institution of expropriation mainly on the basis of the applicable provisions of law, judicial decisions and literature. The work deals with the legal grounds for initiating the expropriation procedure, its premises, and also precisely defines the public purpose in relation to the expropriation of real estate. As the last point of the work, the author discusses the regulation of compensation, its legal form, and the grounds for its payment.
