Summary/Abstract: L’évolution de l’emplacement du port est traitée dans cet article dans le contexte des nouvelles théories concernant les modifications de la partie méridionale duDelta du Danube. Sont passés en revue les arguments archéologiques qui soutiennent cenouveau scénario pédo-géologique et les étapes de l’ensablement progressif et très rapidede l’ancien golfe de la mer Noire qui ont déterminé la disparition de la cité. // The evolution of the port's location is discussed in this article in the context of new theories concerning the modifications of the southern part of the Danube Delta. The archaeological arguments supporting this new pedo-geological scenario and the stages of the progressive and very rapid silting up of the former Black Sea Gulf which determined the disappearance of the city are reviewed.
