Summary/Abstract: Statistical literacy is one of the important skills needed to understand today's world of information. The aim of the article is to compile a typology of students of teaching and pedagogical sciences in terms of their level of statistical literacy determined on the basis of the author's questionnaire. Statistical literacy was assessed by nine knowledge items and the typology of students was realized on the basis of cluster analysis. The analysis identified three groups of respondents with relevant characteristics – one group includes respondents with the highest knowledge of statistics, the other group includes respondents with average knowledge and the third includes respondents with the weakest knowledge of statistics.
