Summary/Abstract: The text presents the shaping process and initial activity of the Association of Lovers (currently: Friends) of Vilnius and Vilnius Land) in Olsztyn. This concept is presented in the light of the chronicle of the Association, documents and other materials found in private collections, mostly belonging to persons tied with the Association at various points of its functioning, as well as local press articles.
