Summary/Abstract: The role of this review is to analyze, in in particular, the various interpretations in this key that have been proposed throughout time in the exegesis of the work of the cultural father of the Greeks, Homer. Thus, it attest, on the one hand, the perennial prestige of the Homeric poems, which, behold, were imposed in this as well regard as a major landmark of political reflection, and on the other hand, reception their complex by various authors, ancient or modern, who, in their approach hermeneutically, they constantly adapted them according to their own agendas (philosophical, moral, rhetorical, political or biographical) .
