Summary/Abstract: Several lead elements belonging to some ancient anchors were found inthe Constanţa area. Te elements are: anchor stock with octogonal cassete in the middle,anchor stock with rectangular cassete in the middle and three connection pieces with three holes. The elements can be dated in the 3rd century B.C. – 3rd century A.D. The anchors belonged to small ships, which sailed near the coast.
