Summary/Abstract: The history of the Szczepański Square is directly connected with several periods important for the city, and events which exerted particular influence on St Stephen's Church, from which the square derives its name. Undoubtedly, the place is related to Krakow history, and, like the city, has gone through different changes and regulations.
