Summary/Abstract: The contribution deals with the social pedagogues in the context of other helping professions. The author deals with the social pedagogy and social pedagogues in relationship with other helping profession, where we put the emphasis in particular on those moments, in which a social pedagogue differs from other professions, where he uses new approaches to issues, and highlights areas that require socio – pedagogical approach.
