Summary/Abstract: The contribution focuses on the determinants of the quality of life of seniors. Attention is paid also to the studies conducted, analysis in the international scale and in our country. The aging process is specific for every individual, because the individual follows the changes in the company. Changes in society and loss of control over the individual elements determining the process of aging are the main factors that may threaten the quality of life of individuals – the elderly.
