Summary/Abstract: The case of Orange Romania S.A. c. The ANSPDCP (Case C-61/2019) brought back intoquestion the manner in which the consent of the data subjects is expressed, thus it is either one valid under the regime of personal details processing. In this article, we will try to prove that the consent, like the legal basis, was not the basis for the processing of copies of identity documents.
