Summary/Abstract: Recent data on radionuclide contents of Cernobyl origin and also the disaster in Japan 2011 were the principle motivations at the base of this research. Cesium – 134 and Cesium – 137 are the main radio nuclides contributing to internal irradiation of the population by different means: food, environment and water. The technique applied in this research was very accurate and precise, the mass spectrometry in gama high resolution being one of the most reliable methods. The contamination levels in food products from the social sector of agriculture were found below the current legal admissible level. No significant difference was found between the levels revealed in the types of food products mentioned, but the averages in the three trimesters studied registered some variations. Although the values recorded were very low, the fact that only two of the major radio nuclides were revealed, lead us to the recommendation of further studies in this domain.
