Summary/Abstract: Social and economic risk factors and diseases of alimentary origin represent important morbidity and mortality causes and generate important economic losses. The purpose of this study was to elaborate a database (using statistically interpreted questionaires) regarding alimentary investigations, realised on a well defined target population, in order to establish specific corellations and create a predictive informatic system for cardiovascular diseases. Taking into consideration the obtained results, we were able to develop a global image regarding death causes in general population and alimentary tendencies. The predictive system, a cardioprevent type, is conceived as a functional aplication which offers a realistic view upon the cost/benefit report in prevention and therapy, making it possible to manage corectly some risk factors in order to prevent and predict cardiovascular diseases.
