Summary/Abstract: Considering the results that are growing weaker for the Romanian University Education, I concluded that it needs a change. This can not be achieved without taking into account the role that the management skills of school managers in implementing change may have. The research objective is to develop a change management model based on the analysis of school management teams. The method was based on the selection of 10 school organizations with good and very good results, with the help of Bihor County School Inspectorate, as well as with interviews applied to school management organizations selected for preliminary study. Subsequently, based on the results was performed a questionnaire which was applied to a sample of 7 selected schools consisting of school mangers, teachers, students, parents and local councilors all involved in the schools. The obtained results for the purpose of forming a model of efficient and effective change management, taking into account the role of school management teams in organizational change can focus on: school managers need to have innovative attitudes, constructive engagement with active participatory style leadership skills, good communicator and negotiator and ability to promote motivation, and job satisfaction and an ethical behavior associated with a perfect moral integrity.
