Summary/Abstract: The educational environment is sensitive to the generation of complex conflicts that sometimes can hardly fit into clear cut types and classifications, revealing features that make it appear distinctive as far as the managerial approach is concerned and the main one to be reported firstly includes its characterization as ”learning organization” that is simultaneously presented with ambivalent meanings, both literally and figuratively. From this perspective, conflict management within the educational institution as a whole is often representative for its placement at the confluence of science, art and experiential practice.
