Summary/Abstract: The recent and explosive development of computer technology has determined the emergence of new methods of committing offenses besides the so-called traditional pattern of criminality. In the legal articles of the new Romanian Criminal Code (2014), the legislator pays special attention to the field of computer crime and that is why the present paper aims at treating thoroughly several practical matters related to the offense of computer forgery, whose threat has become more and more substantial in the current economic and social reality.
